OUR STORY……… HOW IT ALL BEGAN!!!!!
Pomodoro Pizza opened it’s door in 1993 in San Francisco, financial district. Now we have moved to San Jose, Almaden Valley, doing the same thing we love to do.
Prior to opening our San Francisco Location, I convinced my wife that we should pour our hearts into the things that we enjoy the most – food and people. Wholeheartedly she agreed and Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza was born.
Like everyone else, we appreciate good service, great food, and a tasteful environment, but as customers our dining expectations were not consistently met. With Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza our goal was to create a casual Pizza Restaurant that delivered the entire experience at a reasonable price.
We combined our experience in business, operations and service and spent the following months pulling together a sophisticated advisory board with seasoned professionals, developing and testing our menu, building relationships with local suppliers and hiring and training our employees. In March 1993 Pomodoro Gourmet Pizza was opened in downtown San Francisco , Financial District.

About our Food & how we prepare them:
We shop often from Local Farmers Markets & whenever products are available, even if they cost more. We prepare all of our sauces, pasta and dough fresh daily. The food you order, it is prepare just before it is served. So, “FRESHNESS GUARANTEED”.
